Injuries | She sustained a head injury after falling in training ahead of the 2019 World Championships. Following a scan, it was decided she would not compete in the individual events at the tournament in Sofia, Bulgaria, but she was able to take part in the 3000m relay. Reason for choosing this sport | She initially took up figure skating for health reasons. "The fact is that winter sports have a very beneficial effect on the respiratory system and on the recommendation of doctors my parents enrolled me in figure skating initially. Thanks to the sport I was cured, and later I switched to short track skating." She was attracted by the intensity and speed of short track. "I was caught up by the high speed and adrenaline." |
