When and where did you begin this sport?He began short track skating in 2002 in Elblag, Poland. He switched to speed skating in 2015.

Reason for choosing this sportOne of his neighbours convinced him to go with her to the ice rink and try short track. "I love speed and adrenaline. I really like individual sport, because everything is in my hands and legs." He switched from short track to speed skating in 2015. "At some point I stopped enjoying short track. The 111 metre track was too short for me to spread my wings. I didn't qualify for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games so I decided to give up [short track]."
