Other information | CHANGING CLUBS She spent time in the development squad of Team LottoNL-Jumbo before switching to Gewest Friesland in 2019. She believes overtraining and an unwillingness to admit her limits to her coaches at Team LottoNL-Jumbo affected her development during her time with the team. "That was completely my own fault. I came in there as a youngster and really wanted to show that I could go with those girls. When the trainers asked me if I was tired, I said, 'No, I'm not tired', when sometimes I was. If you push that limit every time, you know it's over." (schaatsen.nl, 08 Nov 2021) |
