Reason for choosing this sport | He joined the Learn To Speed Skate programme to start with short track speed skating. He then switched to long track speed skating to better use his strength. "With an endurance as high as mine, I did not feel my strengths were properly being taken advantage of in short track. My regular performances in practice as well as in the fitness testing lab were not translating into race results. I decided to make the jump to long track." |
