Other informationMARATHON MAN
In April 2020 he joined Team Jumbo-Visma. The intention at first was for him to compete in the marathon. "There are three branches [to Team Jumbo-Visma], I will start with the marathon team. This year is for me to find the right solutions in marathon skating, because I have little experience in it. For the long term, I hope to be able to make the switch to the core team. In addition, I hope to be able to compete at the Olympic [Winter] Games one day, that is a future goal." (Team Jumbo-Visma YouTube channel, 13 Sep 2020; rtvnof.nl, 22 May 2020)
